Christmas in the real South

My husband grew up in a very unique, beautiful and antebellum town called Natchitoches. It is the oldest settlement in Louisiana and home to many historic plantations, one of them owned by my inlaws. It is one of the most beautiful homes I've ever seen and not just because of the decor, but the authenticity. Surrounded by 250 year old oak trees, and adorned with copper lanterns, it is truly a step back to the old South.
